Faithful Anticipation

Have you ever felt suspense, anticipation, excitement and faith all at the same time? We have! With our 10 day extension ending on Friday we are continuing to stand in faith and expectation for God’s plan. We have to have 80,000 Euros in the bank in order to enter into “Plan B” for the next year and a half. However, “Plan A” of 300,000 total Euros is not out of God’s reach! Keep praying with us these next few days for immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20).

The Journey Continues

This journey has been amazing so far! In a span of a few days we have seen God move in amazing ways and we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our YWAM family, churches and people all over the world!

It is now February 14th and we are still in the building; using it for the base. We have realized that with all the pledges coming in, the process of transferring the funds will take longer so the owner extended our deadline to February 24th. We can breathe. God has sent an amazing amount of 104,000 Euros ($137,000 US), but it wasn’t enough to buy the building at full price.

Along with the extended time, the owner has given us a new option. They have offered for us to buy the building with an installment plan over the next year and half. The plan requires us to give 80,000 Euros ($105,300 US) in addition to the down payment we currently gave thru the rent-to-own contract of 24,000 Euros ($31,600 US) which equals the total of what we have received at 104,000 Euros ($137,000). This will help give the mission’s base a building to use and time to invite others to partner with us. We are still believing that God can bring in all the funds by February 24th.

If you’ve already given via bank transfer over the last few days, please let us know and send us the information so we can better track all of the funds that have been coming in.

Please continue to pray that all the pledges arrive in the next 10 days and that others will join. We are trusting God for a financial miracle and looking forward to a great celebration in the near future!

God is good! Yesterday, one of our Leadership Team shared at a YWAM leaders gathering in London and we received the incredible blessing of 25,300 Euros! There are also approximately 3,000 US Dollars in the mail from various locations. It’s amazing to watch how God is bringing everything together. We’re in the last few days of our race and still need to see 186,000 Euros come in by the 14th. The Last Days

We are holding our breath as the last days approach in expectation of what God will do. Project 600 has been amazing to communicate what we’re doing; we’ve made many new friends and ministry connections while seeing ministry really take off. We have faith that our God is faithful, and we know He never fails, but we would be lying if we said we weren’t a little nervous! It will be exciting to see how God plans to show His glory through this process.

In the last week, God has kept us quite busy! One of our leaders, Jerry Busch, has just returned from an encouraging trip to America where he was able to make multiple connections and walk through a few doors that have been closed until now. There are still multiple churches and business men that are praying and deciding on how and what to give. Our other leader abroad, Florin Mereu, is now in England getting ready to share the vision of Project 600 with a leadership gathering for Western Europe. Keep him in prayer as he shares and leads a time of giving for the building.

Just in the past week, we’ve gotten a total of 8 new partners and 3 large YWAM bases will be taking an offering towards Project 600. If you’ve been praying about joining us in the final push, then now is the time. We’re believing for a miracle, please stand with us as we wait in expectation for this vision to become a reality.

The Finals, Week 2

It has been amazing to see that the closer we come to the deadline, the greater our faith has become. God’s favor is increasing beyond what we thought possible just a few months ago. Since our final stage began in January, we’ve been receiving new partners and pledges from all around the world joining the vision of Project 600. Just these past few days have seen 4 new Project 600 partners and a few doors that have just recently opened. We’ve also received an incredible donation of $5,000 USD!

As we said in our last update, 2 of our leaders are currently traveling abroad sharing the vision of Project 600. Our leader traveling in Europe, Florin, is speaking today to a gathering of leaders while our base leader, Jerry, has been meeting with church leaders and business men in America for the past few days. One of the most exciting meetings that has taken place involved a business man who has a heart to join us in ministry around the city in amazing ways! We’re looking forward to advancing the Kingdom of God together in the future.

The Count Continues… Week 3.

 

With only 3 weeks left until our February 14th deadline, things are getting exciting here in Targu Mures, Romania! Last week we received 2 more Project 600 partners and even more are praying about joining. We have some incredible opportunities in front of us and our community worship and intercession times are becoming more and more encouraging.

 

This coming weekend, 2 of our leaders will be embarking on separate trips to America and Northern/Western Europe to share the vision of Project 600. In America, on Monday and Tuesday, Jerry Busch will be meeting with churches and business men. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Florin Mereu will be sharing the vision with other YWAM leaders at a regional gathering. Please stand with us in prayer for safe travel and an abundance of blessing while these 2 leaders carry this vision on 2 separate continents. There are many doors that are just now opening and we’re believing for even more ministry partners by this time next week.

Week 4 update

Over and over again God has spoken that same thing… “It will happen.” We’ve been claiming this house as part of the Kingdom of God and our faith is only growing stronger. In the past week, we’ve received incredible encouragement through one time donations and even more Project 600 partners joining the vision. With only 4 weeks until our deadline, we’re looking forward to seeing what God will do to show His glory.

Over the next few weeks, 2 of our leadership team will be traveling to share the vision with other believers around the world. Youth With A Mission has 2 regional gatherings in Europe and we’ve been invited to share what God is doing and invite others to join. Then, near the end of the month, our base leader will be traveling to America for a few meetings with churches and individuals. We also have a church considering giving an offering while another church is praying about a pledge of $10,000 USD.

Five weeks and counting

Our journey of faith continues. In seeking God’s provision we were more awakened towards His face as well. Our times of corporate prayer and worship have been enriched and we are challenged as individuals as well to seek and pursue growth in different areas in our lives. God is at work in us and we are thankful.

Since last week’s update we have some proposals with Missions’ boards and YWAM Bases and it looks promising. Three more partners joined the existing 146 and many more are considering. We believe it is possible to meet our deadline. Would you believe with us? Would you take the challenge?

Six weeks and counting…..

The countdown has begun…
Last month we had a meeting with the house owners to finalize the details of the sale. During the meeting they said that they needed the whole amount by Feb. 14th or we will have to move out on the 15th. We have just about 6 weeks until that date. The last lap of the race has begun. This will include for all of us here a lot of work, including phone calls, writing grants, traveling to different events and/or different nations.

News of Norway and Beyond

Our base leader, Jerry Busch, has just returned from an incredible time visiting and presenting to our YWAM family in Norway. Over the course of 1 week, he was blessed by opportunities of sharing with entire staff teams and individual leaders all while carrying our vision as a base for our city. He was widely accepted with great generosity and incredible new partnerships for future outreaches and Project 600!

That’s not all, either! Not only have we received financial promises from Norway, but even more people have joined Project 600 in the past week; even for the second time! We’ve been so encouraged by the outpouring of love from all of our friends and family all over the world. We can only look forward with anticipation as we know God is providing!
